In today's conversation with Monte3, Thursday or Friday nights can work for him as well, since he works M-Th. I am up for this. Let's remain flexible and see if we can round up a few more of the faithful. Mendel may be persuadeable. I would like to see OnSail as well. PoopTroop lives about a mile away, so he has NO excuse.

WrenchWench...oooh, baby...hahahaha...

I'll send out another email to the 'ones who do not post' as well. How about Friday? 6 p.m.?

But what about LordTrunks??

Thanks, RezKid. Good hearing from you!

Signature has been updated. Thanks, Monte3. We'll be talking more about the Starion. One trip around the housing development/racetrack makes me want some more.

No problem JB, I'm glad it worked out for both of us. As far as the Conquest goes, it sure is a neat little ride, I'm gonna finish detailing it out, and we'll see.
As far as a meet, just keep in mind that I'm not able to do much "last minute", since it involves 100 mi of blacktop...
Anyhow, lookin forward to seeing everyone again!
I guess I'll have to update my signature.

ClayTK, what did you have in mind? All I have to trade is a set of SR 15x7 wheels, but I'm thinking I may just get a new set of 31x10.5's for them instead. Make me a smoking deal and I may consider it, though.

Having only wheels wouldn't really work, that is unless I drive around rims Plus they are starting to seperate as Adam had pointed out and since its been sitting in the AZ sun they are rotting too....

As for the meeting I got Friday off if its Thursday I wouldn't be able to show up to the BO until around 10:00 or 10:30. But I like the BO wallys and chicken fingers! Oh and BEER! oh wow I will actually be going to a Mitsu meeting in a Mitsu/Dodge

See, I knew it wouldn't be that easy...

Patrick, give me a call when you are up and about so I can swing over to get a ticket for tomorrow night. I also may ask your opinion on a couple of things with the truck.

Had Jack's takes a look at the front end on the SR this morning. They had me jump down to show me all the slop in the lower ball joints, Pitman and idler arms. Ken told me to have fun replacing those parts, then to bring it back. Castor is all wrong, and we didn't get to toe-in/out with all the play in it. No charge, of course.

I already have the lower ball joints (Moog), thanks to Paul. Anybody got a line on the good price for Moog idler and Pitman?

Checker: Idler $128.99, Pitman $88.99

NAPA: Idler, not Moog, $124.00, Pitman, not Moog, $91.49, Idler arm bushing kit, $17.39

AutoZone: Idler, (Duralast, LLT) $75.99, Pitman, (Duralast, LLT) $61.99

If AutoZone is dumb enough to limited lifetime warranty an idler arm and a Pitman for this truck, that may be the way to go. Or I could just go with the idler bushing kit from NAPA and the Pitman from A.Z.

Ideas/Thoughts? Oh, the Moogs are LLT, as well, plus. I seem to recall they designed an "improvement" where the part that attaches to the truck is better braced so the bushings don't get worn quite as quickly.

JB, BOTH the idler, and pitman were replaced in the last year, so I can't imagine that they are that worn.
BTW, they also are Moog, but not lifetime warranty. Are you certain they're bad?
I trust Kenny, and wouldn't have a doubt that he's right, but for the parts to go bad that fast is a suprise.
Keep us posted on your progress.
On another note, a meeting on Thursday, after work, would work...

Rockauto has them cheaper, if you have the cash change the tie rods out too. BTW the gen 2 Idler is different than the gen 1 idler arm you can't change the bushings.
