Damn, did he already go buy a new Titan? That really sucks especially after all that work he just did. I bet that thing made a lot of loud noises on its way out.

I knew that engine was a P.O.S. At least it didn't strand me...

The SR is in top form. Between the suspension/steering parts, the alignment and the wheel switchout, the truck tracks really nice and does the freeway much better. 75 on I-17 last night was drama-free with no shakes or pulls.

I'm thinking stereo upgrades next...

Welcome to AZ, Motero. Long time since I've seen ya.

When's the meeting?

John B.

Body Damage is Cool
Brodie has been having some issues with it lately, it was having a over heating issue. I'm pretty sure he never overheated it but 2 days ago clay had to tear down a good portion of the motor to fix it. If Brodie does decide to fix the thing its probably not gonna be him fixing it, on top of that when we tell him how much it will cost for parts, he will probably just use the money for a down payment on a new truck. Well see though

It'll probably only cost him a few bennies, still cheaper than a new truck payment and insurance. poor Brodie why did you wish this on him Kevin. J/K

We are getting settled in our house out in Wittmann. Do any of you have a set of C/V Shafts, for a 99monty, you would part with, preferably with the boots intact. Mine are clicking up a storm the boots have been torn for months, and I have had no where to fix them till now. Or do you think new grease and boots would fix it? Or do you think I should tear it down first and see how bad the damage is in the joints.

Thanks, can't wait to hit the trails.

Wittmann? you poor thing

Hey dude, I never wished this on him, I just new it would happen. I feel really bad for him but he doesn't really know how to take care of a used truck or at least a 22 year old truck. I encourage him fixing it, there is just an advantage to not fixing it for me and any other fellow montero vultures.

I was joking, but it is still a good truck and it's sad to see it end like this. LT agrees with Clay that Danny didn't torque the bolt and it backed out and snapped the other side of the cap letting the rod fly off. I think the truck should ride again.

I know where some are, and if they are clicking they're F'd. If you get a used set even with good boots you will want to put new boots on or they'll tear right away, especially if you're running a lift.

Yes, That is exactly what I want to do. So where can I get this set of shafts? Thanks for the help.

Wittmann is great.

And, JBfP lets hit those easy trails.
