Body Damage is Cool
Well, as much as I'd like to take the new truck out, I'm Mr. Mom this weekend, and there are a couple of good car shows in town.
I'll try to post some pics of the 04 soon.
Next weekend, anyone want to venture up this-a-way?? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

You guys misssed out! My neighbor, Jose, he of the 'Albuquerque Raider' era, spent about 7 hours fumbling around out off a few trails in the area in question yesterday. Finally found where I had missed a turn and got going toward Superior where we finished under the headlights about 7 p.m. Started by hitting Box Canyon, then headed into the hills and aiming for the Telegraph Canyon trail.

Just as we reached pavement outside Superior, Jose called out the mud alarm, as he spotted a sluice on a side trail, so we swung around and went in to see for our selves. In no time at all, we had mud coming over the hood and I was rowing the shifter between forward and reverse to get us out of there, finally catching something solid and reversing all the way out. It was a mess, but it didn't stop us from charging the smaller mud puddle on the other side of the trail to even the spray/display of mud goodness. Had to wipe off the mess from the hubs to unlock, the valve stems to air up and the headlights to see. Before you ask, the camera's disc had filled up earlier and I brought a spare disc that wasn't blank, so there are no pictures of that fun. We had a good laugh about how we almost got really stuck just outside of town where we could have probably seen people sitting in their front yards a half mile away.

Too much fun. Get your junk on the trail!

John B.

The cleanup begins...
As much fun as mud is, I <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" /> HATE the cleaning, almost as much as the <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/mrt.gif" alt="" /> guy that runs the quarter car wash does.

Sounds like a good time though! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
