Then the only thing I can think of is it is YOU in the pic? Because I believe since it was taken in summer of 74 it couldn't be a 75 yet and the 71's-73's had a different front end. And, they had a 2300 engine.

My dad bought my sister a 72 and the motor went bad after 2 years. It had the 2 barrel and a 2 speed automatic. Really sucked off the line. Only thing it was good for was in town driving. It was chocolate metalflake brown with a big white stripe on the hood and back deck lid.
Went to school with a couple of brothers that had a 72 and they dropped a 327 FI 375 hp vette engine in it and ran it out at the drags. Had trouble keeping the front end on the ground.

Actually had a 76 Monza with a 305 in it. Had trouble keeping back tires on it <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
Only had a 2 barrel so it ran out of air at about 5000 rpms. Put a posi in it and then both tires would light up pretty, and was really a handful going around corners on wet pavement. Think I got 22 mpgs out of it on the freeway.
May start looking for a Miage someday.

I have owned 3 Chevy Monza'a, one 78 with a 151 Iron Duke and a 4sp, one 79 with a Buick V6 and an auto. and one 75 with a Vega aluminum block 4 popper. I was building a 350 for the 75, had the V8 springs and mounts and ran into my dream truck, a 56 F100. I sold all the Monza stuf and went back to get the truck and it was gone, bummer.
Maybe we need to start another thread of all the vehicles we have owned through the years.
