Getting the Wheeling Fever

well I spoke to my mechanic about replacing the A/T temp sensor. He told me the sensor cost about $45 to $100 bucks and that it is located within the transmission which will be expensive to replace due to the labor involved to get to it. I got the impression from the replies that the sensor was located on the outside of the transmission which made it somewhat easier to get too.
