A little wine and some on line radio......ahhhh

Cowboy Junkies, Sweet Jane nice. Followed by A Flock of Seaturds, Falling in Love.

Been awhile since I've been able to tune in a veg.

That particular Junkies song is AWESOME. I checked out some of their recent stuff online, and I didn't like it much. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

WTF mate?

I really want to hear Sparky say that. Either a cockney or Australian accent will do, I'm not picky <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

I second that! Funny really, as anytime I see the word 'mate' used like this my brain automagically repeats it with an aussie accent.

Ever since Dodgeball when I hear 'mate'...

White Goodman: We should mate.
Kate Veatch: What?
White Goodman: Date! We should date some time. Socially. Go out and kick it.
[Kate retches, then forces it down]
White Goodman: Are you okay?
Kate Veatch: I'm fine. I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
White Goodman: In some cultures, they only eat vomit. I never been there, but I read about it... *in a book*.

'Mate' in Oz and the UK is like 'Dude' here. It can be used to express any sentiment <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
