Well, I finally figured out what the rattling noise is from my front end. I finally got under the Monti and immediately noticed that the driver side front shock, the two screws that hold it place on the bottom of the shock were both gone. The bottom of the shock was resting against another section of the suspension. I went to PAP, took the two bottom screws off of a 1986 SWB, the only truck i found in 3 PAP's I went to. The screws looked the same size. Well I put the front screw in, and it tightened up, then on the final turn, it loosened up. I did this a few times, but the screw would not tighten up. I decided to put int the back screw, and this is when I noticed that the thredded part of the original screw was still in the hole, and the head was broken off. What do I do now!!! While driving home from PAP, i heard something hit the bottom of the truck, and looked in rear view mirror and noticed a screw bouncing around in the road. I got home and the front screw I put it feel out! Help, what do i need to do!
