Glad you got it resolved! I tend to overshoot the problems as well. I took a door panel off a honda accord because the window wouldn't work on the passenger side (2 door car) spent 3 hours and when I was testing the wires on the drivers side I noticed a switch, the child lock was on!!! talk about a waste of time!
we all do it.
