I am having trouble locating a replacement pin switch for the rear door. I have no dealers in my area and am tired of the wife fussing about it. Any help would be great.

Thanks for the suggestions Van. I know Matt at Independent and stock replacement parts like that aren't really his thing. As for modification, he is an amazing fabricator and a great shop to do buisness with. I checked with myisuzuparts.com allready and they don't have it. I will look into the others soon.
Thanks Again.

Mike;
I found the following p/n under "Selected: 2002 TROOPER - ELECTRICAL - SWITCH AND RELAY; INSTRUMENT PANEL" on the MyIsuzuParts.com web site. Figure 8-25, image #6
" 41 SWITCH; BACK DOOR LOCK 11-1999 and LATER" Part number "8-97081-773-0" Also don't forget that Acura and Honda sold rebadged Troopers so you might have luck at one of those dealers. Give Merlin a call @ St.Charles Isuzu above, I have had very good service with him in the past.

For Trooper owners just open rear door and look down near the center of the vehicle for a black plastic pin sticking out just below the door seal. Mine was broken when I got my truck. From what I hear they break easily.

Thanks Bob! I assume you are quoting myisuzuparts.com for that part #. If not please let me know. I will have to remenber that I can go bug the Acura Parts guy if I get in a pinch, however I am sure I will pay a premium for an Isuzu part in an Acura parts bag.
Thanks again!

I am glad to report that $11.60 later I have ordered the part and look forward to installing it next weekend.
Thanks to all of you who helped me locate it!
