buddy from work.. his mom is the head saleswoman at Heritage Toyota up here in burlington, so she's gonna help me out ;-]

2006-2007 Access Cab (extra cab? lol im a pickup owner) TRD Off-Road (not sport) SR5 Tacoma, Black. Diff lock, 4.0l Manual, the whole nine. I'm pulling out the stops

I'm gonna finance it through either my bank or the dealer, whoever will give me a better deal. And ya, im gonna have to sell my pickup

Black is hard to keep clean but i like the way it looks so much better. My other option would be the blue (meh) or the white.

I'm gonna get a cap again as well. Probably not through toyota since $$$$ but I'll def put another topper on. I love having a cap. It'll be a pavement pounder but I'm planning 32x11.50's and w/e lift to accomodate that, maybe some other minor things like a brushguard or bumpers. Def a stereo, as always.

I'll post some pics after work, I can't find any non CrewCabs on google in black. Who would want that crummy short bed?!

Edit: One thing i need to do some more research on what the TRD Off-Road options are. If it's just badging and springs/shocks then i may not do it since I'll probly swap that stuff out on my own anyway.

You'll prolly disapointed with a Taco in general as compared to the ruggedness of the older generations but the increased power is nice.

and yeah.. believe me im not stoked to make the switch to a 2004+ from my 3 priors: 87 4runner, 89 reg cab, 95 ext cab. I had to make it sometime though and so will you!

I already made the switch.Check my sig. Thats how I know you'll be dissapointed! Just get used to the bed rattling around alot from the C channel frame. Its the sad truth that we have to keep getting newer vehicles due to the rust problems here. It turns older trucks into a money pit.

off-road gives you the diff lock, and sport gives you the rear LSD. (i'd go for Offroad)

customtacos.com is a good taco forum.
lots of a-holes on ttora. id rather go to pirate.

Here's what I'm hoping to end up with by the end of next month. I want the TRD Off-Road though, not the sport. I didn't like it at first but the new look has kinda grown on me.
