I got an issue with a violent vibration in the front end at about 45-55 mph. Starts out as a wiggle, then gets worse until I get to about 55. then smooth.

I have done

Tire rotation no change
pull r front and replace with spare no change
pull l front and replace with spare no change

I pulled both tires and got under the jeep on stands and can't find anything loose.

I thought about pulling the front drive shaft to see if it is u-joint related.

Any thoughts?

Body Damage is Cool
Before spending a lot of investigative time, I'd put the two best tires on the front and have them dynamically balanced. Then I'd get a front alignment. Then road test it in the same conditions that is now giving a woble. If it still wobbles, then I'd starting looking into a lot of things.

There you go! Glad you got it fixed.

For me personally, every time I have had a vehicle start riding rough at a certain speed, and then get smooth again at a higher speed, it has been caused by tires that were unbalanced.

Get your tires rotated and balanced (at least the front ones) every 5K miles,

I gotta give props to Discount Tires. They balanced and rotated the tires and set me up for e-mail reminders so I don't forget to get the next rotation.

Great place. in and out in about an hour on Sat.
