Need a Spot

My dad gave me his 90 Isuzu pickup 2.6l ls as a present for geting my licence and well 2 days after the front left cv joint broke its been clicking for a wile anyone care to give me some insite about how to get the darn thing off? i have got as far as poping the ball joints off were do i go next? any help will be greatly apriciated!
