Just wondering what kind of gas miles everyone is getting, with what engine and driving style? Im only getting 15-16 mpg on my stock, except for exhaust, 22re. I use to have a 93 with a v6 and I would get 17-18 mpg on it. I just expected better mpg on a 4cyl.

'94 22re extra cab 4x4 5-speed and several engine and engine related mods. 235 tires, stock gears. I've been getting 18 since the build-up, 19-20 before that. I'll be installing a hydrogen fuel cell before too long, so that should boost it by quite a bit.

I have a 1995 3.0 v6. I only get about 15 mi to the gal. RPMs kind of high on the interstate right now cuz of the small tires. The RPMs should go down when I get the other tires. Maybe then I'll get a little more mi to the gal. Needles to say I was shocked at the terrible gas mi. The 3.0 seems to run much better and get better gas mi on high octane fuel.

1994 4wd 22RE, stock, 208000 miles. new ECT, new O2 sensor, plugs, plugwires, seafoam treatment, no cat converter, babying the pedal...No more than 16MPG. It is my daily driver and is killing the wallet. Going to pick up a 1995 toyo corolla this weekend. Garage kept, one owner driven by 85 year old woman. Immaculate with 98000 miles, I should expect around 30-35 MPG. $2500 bucks. I should recoop that money within a year. Truck will be used as needed.

I've got some engine mods, and exhaust. 31's with stock gears. Going to Golden, Co from Arvada for school (pretty good hill to climb) I'm getting 15. When I went to the sand dunes I got 20-23 doing 65-70, haven't had a good highway tank since so I don't know what I currently get. That was also during the summer so gas non-additives may have played a role in that. 3k rpm doing 70mph.

Those mpg in the 20s are pretty amazing. My 15-16 mpg is definetly at the low end of things. Those of you geting in the 20s do you baby the gas pedal or just drive normal?
