Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hey All,

I know this topic has been covered but I have a specific question that I am hoping to get some feedback on...

I am interested in converting my 1996 T100's front ADD setup to manual hubs. I have been told that doing this on the T100s is pretty straightforward: "you can simply remove the stock lockout plate and install a set of manual lockouts."

So, the link below is for the Mile Marker LockOut Hub Conversion Kit that I found:

http://www.sportcompactonly.com/Wheel-Accessories/Wheels-Tires/part_c-74_pl-3138_p-50508_s-3.htm

I am confused from the description what exactly the kit offers. It seems like I would still need to get some actual manual hubs, but I am wondering if this kit is all I really need?

Any feedback is much appreciated...

The kit that your link shows is for converting from auto hubs(not ADD) to manual hubs. Here's an image on 4x4wire of that conversion. As you can see this image also shows the manual hubs absent form the kit you linked. Check out this link for more info on Toyota manual hubs. Brew, thanks for helping me figure this stuff out. In addition to the AISIN hubs that I hear about being popular, it sounds like manual hubs from 86-95 trucks would work on my T100...

Roll Me Over
yes - they are an exact match from the 86-95 trucks and 4runners.

The manual hubs from 86-95 trucks are Aisin Hubs. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> Brew <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
