I'd sure as heck hate to be out in the rain or -40 cuz junior or Taz locked the electric doors, and the keys were in the ignition, nevermind knocking the rig out of gear, or taking off the e-brake.

In winter, Fairbanks sits in a bowl, so there's an inversion layer that keeps CO from dispersing, so we're always at it with the EPA when the temps go past -20F.

The vehicle operates in closed loop for about 1/4 second... Just long enough to take readings from all the sensors.

A way around the starter wear is to beef up the cables... I am currently running 2ga cables in my 4Runner, but I want to upgrade to 0/0 welding cable soon. Factor in the 1200 ca (875 cca) battery, and my starter flies!
