on an oooooooooold thread there was something about a mazda lsd fitting the kia rear diff and or rear, Dave maybe you can recall? the reason i bring this up is on ebay you can pick up an lsd for about 400 bucks new or 100 bucks used. i know it was a mazda but dont know year or model , turbo or n/a...

A Mazda LSD may fit the front. I have one and need to get it done this month and then I will report on it. As for the rears, I believe a Miata will fit. You will need to take some time and search old threads. I'm looking @ a Ford 9" for the rear, but I need to take apart a KIA one to see how the speed sensor could be installed. Happy searching, Everet

No problem, don't hesitate to ask if you need more info and I'm sure that some day you can help me (us) out also (like with locker info when you get it working). Dennis

From what I have read, they are not worth the money. They are a Jam block, see how it just uses springs, and no friction plates? I wouldn't risk it.
