OK, I'll have to see how much material the shop takes off the cam race to clean it up. Hmmm, I'll also have to account for any material removed from the bottom of the head to flatten it out, although it should be less than .005" And any material removed from decking the block...

How many thousandths of material needs to be removed overall before an adjustable cam gear is warranted? .010", .020", .030"?

I'll also have the block gone over along with the head, probably have the cylinders bored .010", deck flattened, rods checked, crank ground, etc....
