Well Idr what you have is simply a leak somewhere.. Stop looking into the engine bay and crawl under her with a flashlight.. You will find ONE DROP of green liquid where the leak is..
Head gasket leaks mostly leak compression backwards into the coolant passages and the coolant PUKES out the overflow.
Small coolant leaks are hard to find...but you can do it from the bottom...not the top.
