Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
Ok 4.2 remanufactured w/ howell fuel injection Hei dist w/adjustable vacuum advance. First off the motor has less than 6k on it and ive changed around 10 pcv valves I changed the motor because it had the same issue as this ones has (thought it was bad rings and new motor made sense) any help would be appreciated <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Your problem could be as simple as the baffle inside the valve cover is allowing too much oil spray into the pcv.. Or the hose opposite the pcv in the valve cover is partially plugged.. In past cases such as yours I have place the "other" valve cover hose to a positive vac supply and that solved the problem of oil in the air cleaner.
