For universal type stuff, Racor is a big name in filtration.

I like THIS ONE

Otherwise, I'd scrounge in the boneyards. A housing off a pre-94 Ford diesel would work well. Nice and compact and filters are available everywhere. No primer pump though, but I don't think that's too critical.

Whatever you do, MAKE SURE whatever filter you put on has a built in water trap.
