aal's are a temporary fix to a perm problem & i have found them to be weak in the woods. it is worth the extra cash to put in full spring packs & you get a full lift that way. also, i may be wrong, but i didnt have any driveline or driveshaft or brake issues with a 3" lift. when i did anything above that i had to shim & change locations of things like steering components & brake lines. anything above 3" & you will have to replace your pitman arm too. thats not hard though.
