Did all of the old forums get deleted? I know there was a simple answers out there for an engine swap.

I have a second Wrangler that I want to preform surgery. The engine in it is slowly going out, I know, I can feel it. What I want to do is put a bigger or possibly better engine in it. It's a 89 Wrangler, 5 Spd Manual Trans, Carb, 6cyl. The engine bay is huge, so I know I can fit something in there.

I want to have a really good engine, but easy to put in. Somthing what would match up to the transmission w/o changing it out. So possibly any engine ideas from 89 and up.
