I purchased my Sportage because we needed something with 4 doors to haul the family and camping stuff, it needed to have a real frame, 4x4, and a manual transmission. I drove everything on the planet, and the Sportage had everything I was looking for. It also was at a price I could not pass up.

I had a 2 door Nissan Sentra that I traded in on it, that I wish to this day I would have kept instead. The thing that really sold me on the Sportage was it could be taken off road for camping and exploring trails and put into 4 LO for following all my Jeep buddies.

When I noticed I was going every where my Jeeper buddies were going but not getting stuck, I started looking for modifications that would allow me to go even further.

That is when I was completely sold.
