Regarding the micro RV, highmtndesert has been working on a Campraider project for a while.

I've seen that one before. I was looking at being a bit narrower, and the front would most likely be in line with the windshield, no overhang. Obviously I do have a bit more length in the rear to work with, and may extend the back about a foot to get more interior space. I also will be making it walk through. I'm also going to have a roll cage for safety, and as a support for the body panels and doors. The rear will fully open up with a bottom and top doors. The bottom door will fold down to become a set of steps. The top door will go up like a hatch to provide some weather cover for the entrance. I've been toying with having both sides open up like that concept 4x4 van that had the drop axles. It really isn't much different in weight for each side panel to make it into an openable door. I'd need to stiffen the side panel frame some, add latches, lifters and hinges, and use a little thicker gasket. Might add 25 lbs per side. For the latches I can use electronic door latches so I don't have to make complex linkages inside the door. Having the sides open I don't see helping much during camping, but for farm use I can see where they would be very handy.
