Anyone know if there is a North American supplier for a snorkel that will fit the Sporty? I know there is one in Tiawan and S. Korea!

Barring that anyone know of a existing Snorkel kit for another vehicle that could be adapted to the Sporty? Something like the Mazda B seireis or Ranger maybe?

Hey all,

That is the same snorkel I have had fitted to my sportage. Over all not to bad. A few minor imperfections in the finish. One problem we did have in fitting it was the bracket to hold the snorkel up on the windscreen pillar. Wasn't quite right and had to reshape it. The other issue was the supplied tubing to run from the snorkel through the inner and outer guards to the airbox. Unsure of what the material is and how long it will last before perishing. Seriously contemplating on having a mandrel pipe made up up to replace it or go to a truck shop and purchase some rubber bends and purchase some pipe to make a better one. I also did not like the last bend into the airbox as it looks restrictive and the tubing will be rubbing on the over flow resevouir for the radiator. If any body is interested PM me an email address and I can send you a heap of photos from having the snorkel fitted. Maybe some one could post them up on the site???

Cheers, Chris

Body Damage is Cool
Why not just post the photos on the forum?
Upload them to photobucket.com then insert them into a post.
Actually, $275 shipped isn't outrageous, just more than I would like to spend.
Looking forward to some pics!!!

Well they have them for $230 plus $65USD shipping to my location, still a good $100 cheaper than another kit here that may or may not fit and would require some mod's. Delivery time is stated as 4 -5 days. Thats faster than shipping a package within Canada!

Anyone up for a small group buy? Maybe DEFBOYS and XJeeper from my neck of the woods or the boys from Oregon and Washington state?
