At the Okeechobee mudfest this weekend I spotted this thing:

The guys said he can drive it from either side, just has to lock the steering column!

Body Damage is Cool
Was it coming, or, going? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" />
Kinda cool. Reminds me of an old VW bus that had two fronts on it.

Pretty slick.
But the magic question is - can it be run in 4WD? That would be the shizzit.
I assume it's just two front-wheel-drive setups. Or, I guess you could lock the "rear" in reverse, lol.

I've been kicking myself for not looking under it when I was there. Now I'm going to spend eternity wondering just what makes it go.

I'd think your better bet would be to dig around and try to find the owner. I mean, tehre can't be too many of these out there, right?
I'd think that between all the Yota boards, somebody would know who made this thing.
Then we overburden the guy with 4 million questions!

In all honesty, just "making it go" shouldn't be all that complicated. People do thsi w/ FWD cars all the time... you only need the front half to drive at all, just cut it off and attach 2 together.
My bet is, they just removed the rear driveshaft, and each half runs on the fronts w/ hubs locked. Put the "rear" t/c in neutral (or unock hubs), and off you go.
