I have a 1989 Toy x-cab 5 speed 4x4, it has no badges on it to tell what it is, how do you tell what model it is? What is the differences in the base,DLX,& SR5 models? Thanks.

The bas package would have a vinyl floor, no rpm gauge, no trip meter, no oil pressure or battey guage, and likely one piece door windows, no wheel well molding, and A/C was optional. The DLX would have had carpet, either 2 or 1 pc door windows(wing window), rpm gauge, trip meter, oil pressure and battey guages, chrome wheel well molding, and A/C was standard(I believe). The SR% would have had everything the DLX model came with, plus bucket seats w/center console(DLX only had 40/60 bench seats), cruise control(not available on DLX), an SR5 sticker on the tailgate(which added $500 more a yr to your insurance). I beilieve that the SR5 was also the only model you could get a sunroof in. I am also not sure if you could get a 4cyl. SR5 model, DLX was available in both 4 and 6 cyls.

More than tread lightly. Leave it like you were never there, nor anyone else.
