My 85 4Runner had a factory SR5 chrome badge on the tailgate, lower left corner, until it was STOLEN! (the emblem that is, not the truck )

SR5 is:
In the good ol' days, means it came with a 5 speed, changed in the mid 80's.
usually you get with an SR5 A/C Sunroof Bucket SPORT seats (4-way?) SR5 instrument cluster SOMETIMES power windows/ locks (mine doesnt) carpet headliner (mine doesnt) carpet floors SR5 door panels (mine has the mid-line ones) EFI... i dont believe you can get a 85+ SR5 without EFI (i can be proven wrong tho) Chrome trim (handles, mirrors, window trim, grille, moulding)and last but not least, SR5 4/8 spoke wheels. (solid axle came with chrome steelies)

EFI... i dont believe you can get a 85+ SR5 without EFI (i can be proven wrong tho) On 4Runners EFI was standard, but trucks were still carb (EFI optional) until the new model in '89 My '89 Runner DLX came w/ zippo options, all basic. best was the carpet - INDOOR black 1/2" pile. Obviously that was not Toyota's doing, though
With 200+ Billion electrical parts, the world most complicated machine is inside your own skull.
Question Reality. ----------------------------- '89 Rnr DLX "SR4.5", 32s w/ 5.29 locked f/r blah blah
