Here's an editorial from our local newspaper: EDITORIAL: Lake Mead dry as a bone?i would think that the people who run las vesgas will find a way to pump water from somewhere...or maybe fly in some evian or something <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> That's not even funny. The Southern Nevada Water Authority is trying to get a project to create a pipeline from northern Nevada (Ely) to Las Vegas. They've already bought up a lot of ranch/farm land for the water rights. I'm totally against that, BTW. Here's an article from Ely from sometime last year: Is SNWA pipeline worth the cost in Las Vegas dollars and White Pine heritage?
