ok so i went to the mechanic and we replaced the tps and the problem with starting the car went totally away as of today! great, but the bad news is that it did not fix the idling that occurs after driving a couple of miles. i try to accelarate with my foot pedal to the metal and nothing it just stays there on idle, then it knocks and makes a weird noise and picks back up, this repeats a couple of times. the funny thing is that this luckily always happens when im coming home, could it be my house thats messing my car up J/K!!! i thought that replacing the tps would fix it but it did not. any one have any suggestions, can it be the iac? dirty or maybe broken?

big jim the piece i did not know the name of was the piece that is like an inch right next to the tps. literally an inch away, and it has the same two screws that need removal like the tps.
