Pffthttt! He didn't even MENTION the Master Burger, "all the way". Tootie's in NC...it is spectacular. I can't remember the name of the "town" it is in (it's tiny), but it's about an hour outside of Asheville.

I'd pass on the franchise picks. Dagwood would be proud of the rest of 'em.

Yeah, but no burgers allowed is just lame...especially since they put in crap like McRib? Come on...and what's with that nasty PB&J thing?

They obviously havenÆt done quite enough researchà
While IÆm sure the food at the places that *were* listed is exceptional û there was absolutely no mention of the five finest purveyors of sandwiches/subs/barbeque in the entire southeastern United States:

QuarterbackÆs BBQ, in Hampton, TN
Bella's, in Abingdon, VA
The Brambleton Deli, in Roanoke, VA
Zuppa, in Richmond, VA
The Jewish Mother, in Virginia Beach, VA

I'd be willing to put ANYTHING on the menu from any-one-of-the-above against Esquire's entire list

Six Isuzus, so far... still have three of them.

Here is a pic of my mother in law about to attempt a HUGE reuben! This was at a small little place in a town called Enumclaw, Washington...bout 30 minutes north of Mt. Rainier. They also had I think like a 2 lb burger.

A "cuban" sandwich from seattle?

The only thing about it that actually sounds like a cuban is the roast pork.

You know you're in for a rough night at sea when the barometer does this:

I did not know that the reuben sandwich was a cuban dish.
