You can get a Aussie locker for $250. I've had mine for about a year now, installed it myself (first time I've ever opened up a third member), and has worked great since I put it in. It does take a little getting used to for cruising through parking lots, but other than that, don't even notice it, except out on the trail where it increases your offroading capability immensely.

Who sells the Aussie locker? Do you have to take out the ring and pinion gear and re set them up during the install?


-1989 4x4 22re(pretty good in the mud)
- custom steel flat bed-oneside of exhaust system, and air box intake off cobra.(doesnt quite have the v8 rumble)AFM off '82 Supra.
-Destination M/T 31"-KYB monomax shocks-"add a leaf"

You do have to take the ring gear off, but don't have to go through the setup procedure again as long as you keep track of where everything was when it came apart, at least I didn't, and havn't had any problems.

Thanks, just didnt want to get into the shimming and checking routine. Had quite an ordeal when changing the rear end gears in my cobra.
