Good deal. Shop around, look for a '89-95(non-Tacoma) truck, or a '90-'95 4-Runner, being parted out. The doors and fenders will work, the fender lines started to change a little around '93-'94, so you will want both to match up. 2wd doors will aslo fit the 4x's. The biggest obstacle will be the paint.
More than tread lightly. Leave it like you were never there, nor anyone else. '90 X-cab 4.88's 33 BFG AT's, rr ARB, Headers, Ignition upgrade, cold air induction. '91 X-cab 5.29's 315's BFG MT's, rr ARB, custom bumper and flatbed

Got the door/fender and a handfull of random bolts I needed for 300 bucks now I get one of those cool multicolor dream rigs.
Do the chrome 4runner mirrors fit? I imagine that they should and thing they would look way cooler.

The mirrors should be interchangeable if they are both the same style, i.e., door mount-to-door mount, or window mount-to-window mount.

Were they breaking off on removal, or on re-install? On install you dont have to tighten them that tight, I use a 1/4" drive ratchet. If you don't want to spend time drilling them out, short self tapping bolts will work just as well.
It shouldn't be nmore than a couple of $100 to paint the door and fender, you should have enough left to get some goodies. It is rather amazing for what little damage was done that the Ins. wanted to total it out. I hate seeing a perfectly good Toy(w/a little help) get parted out.

Those jerks just wanted to sell it off for money and pay me peanuts. Honestly they said that the frame was partially bent.(Thanks for the extra couple of hundred bucks statefarm)
The bolts upon removal sheared off specifically in the front for the fender, and the side bolts for the bumper. My last go with fixing this ended up with hardened stud extractor chunks in the bolt holes in a manner where they cannot just be pulled back out. so my skid plate is keeping my house from floating away by weighing it down.
What all can be done as far as priming the door for paint in order to save dinero?

What all can be done as far as priming the door for paint in order to save dinero? You might save some $$ by sanding the door down yourself to remove the clearcoat, but most shops are going to want to do the work themselves, their rep is at stake once it hits the street. You could try painting it yourself, if you can find matching paint in a spray can, there are some sandable spray paints available. To sand/prime/paint/finish yourself I think you would still be looking at $50+, I would think a shop like Maaco shouldn't charge more than $200 for a door and fender.

If its not worth 4-5 hours of me doing it versus 2hrs experienced labor I don't really see the point in spending a saturday with a respirator and grinder for 50$. Painting myself is not an option as I would like my truck to look nice.

Just as an idea, do you have any Adult Vo-Tech classes available there? When I lived in Tulsa, I knew a few guys that took Auto Body classes just for the use of the paint booth and equipment. The tuition was was under $100 and you could purchase your paints thru the school at a discount. It takes longer, but you'll have a teacher to over see your work and learn the correct way to do it.
