Getting the Wheeling Fever
My next fix is an annoying noise and feel I get from my clutch pedal only after it warms up. I get this loud "creak-creak" sound when pressing in and on the release. It only does this after it heats up to operating temp. It also feels a little sticky or spongy but only when heated up. Again, it feels and sounds normal when cold. It also does the creak-creak noise with the engine shut down after it's heated up. Could it need bleeding, or a new bushing in the pedal mechanism? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Same noise when NOT RUNNING? Means loose bolts or return spring noise. A little attention should fix the noise.
On the other hand a squeak while running only means clutch bearing is dry or worn.. Only replace with complete clutch kit.

Do you mean in the pedal mechanism or the internals?

Damnit boy! I don't know another way to say it! If it makes the noise while the engine isn't running it prolly is in the LINKAGE before the clutch.. Maybe under your dash.

I did the best kind of yoga I know how and laid underneath and reached around with the tip of my finger and barely pressed the pedal and the sound does seem to be coming from inside the bell housing. Not 100% sure though.
