Getting the Wheeling Fever
i am tired of not having a gun when i have a use for one so i am looking at these roof mounted gun racks for the sport. has anyone ever done one? i'd like to get this one http://www.cabelas.com/prod-1/0005330220670a.shtml, do we have a double walled roof? if not i will get this one http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/t...mp;amp;cm_pla=N/A&cm_ite=netcon. i like the first one cause its a little simpler and easier to install and looks like it would mount up a little sturdier to me. let me know what you think.

I hope to God you are talking about hunting...

If not, well, there's always CCW

As for the roof, in my experience the Sportage roof is really flimsy, I wouldn't bolt anything heavy to the sheet metal. It flexes and dents in really easily. You would probably have to go with the second one.

come on nuke I would at lease give ya to the count of 200 before I got out of the front seat walked to the back and opened the latch and took it out of the case, but that was in my younger years there are a few here who could give ya the same don't think CCW works well with a rifle. unless your real tall. Old Clint Eastwood would carry a S&W 50 Cal these days
