Whatever you run, be sure to put a reasonable length of exhaust pipe on AFTER the muffler... it makes a WORLD of difference in the exhaust note, in my experience.

I put about 4' of pipe behind the muffler. The muffler is in the factory locatin. The funny thing is, When I built the exhaust, I did everything but the tail pipe behind the muffler simpily because I didn't have a mandrel bender. Before the tail pipe it was really loud but deep and rumbly. I took it to a muffler shop to install the tail pipe. Well when he started it up, at idle, it quieted down signifigantly. But the first romp of the gas served a big-o-bowl of Rice! Exhaust sound comes in at about the 45sec mark. http://s150.photobucket.com/albums/s120/4xtoy/Isuzu%20Pup/?action=view¤t=exhuast.flv

Bingo! Found one I like. I put on a Dynomax SuperTurbo. Sounds great. Just a little rumble on acceleration and almost noiseless on the hwy.
I'll try to get a sound clip pretty soon.
