For what it's worth. I had a A340 in my 87 Supra Turbo. It wouldn't shift for crap cold, needed a slow and gentle warm up. After warm up, performed flawlessly. There were 3 occasions though, driving at cruising speed, and all forward motion was gone. I had to let it sit 15 mins before I could put it in drive and carry on. Also when cold, reverse wouldn't work all the time, just intermittant. I flushed it with 16 qts. of new fluid, 4 qts at a time. Pulled filter and cleaned. That filter was a metal microscreen, and was clean anyways. No changes. I then proceeded to replace all 3 shift solinoids with new ones. Still no help, then replaced the tranny ECU with a good used one. STILL no help. So I sold the Supra Targa and bought a 4cyl 99 Camry. Wife didn't like the Supra, targa messed up her hair, 2 doors were long and heavy, red is "icky", whatever, sorry for the rant <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
