A Sportage Heater core is simple to fix........

......when compared to that on a 64' Plymouth.

Took two weekends to get the b*****d thing out, involved removing the glove box, radio, 2 vacuum valves, 27 screws, a 7lb cast iron blower motor, and a 48"x12"x10" steel box with razor sharp rusty edges.

Then since you can't find a replacement core you have to get it re-cored, local shop quoted $500.00

And I still have to reassemble the heater box, motor, squeeze it back under the dash, and put everything back!

I'm looking forward to doing the one in the Sportage, I need a break! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/nana.gif" alt="" />
