Need a Spot
Sorry for the repost. I really thought this was an easy one, but after 197 views, four replies (thank you), about an hour calling places and i even bought the service manual for about a hundred dollars, after all that I still do not know where to plug these three wires in. So, if anyone can help me out, you will be my new best friend.

Here is my repost

i just bought a new alternator and the three wires that connect from the alternator to the wiring harness are not matching colors. The wires coming from the fuse box are a solid white, a white with red stripe and a black with yellow stripe. The wires from the alternator that go into the back of the couple are a solid white, a white with blue stripe and a white with a green stripe

I bought a service manual for it. but they do not mention anything about the color of the wires. The wires coming from the wiring harness are original. i am hoping that they would be the same color on all the 86 trooper TD's. If anyone can look at the three small wire set that goes from the fuse box to the alternator and tell me which of theses wires are plugged in to each of the three connectors.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. There is a white-blue, white, and a white green. In your reply you have two white-blue and no white green. Here is a pic
