I am in the process at looking at another truck. I currently own a 94' Nissan Pick-up but I am looking for something newer. I came across the Tundra and the Tacoma and I heard Toyota trucks are pretty good, performance, maintenance, auto parts and also reliable . I know the Tundra is the bigger of the two but which one would recommend for a 20 year old college student?
Also, not that it is a big deal or anything but does the 01-04 model Tundras and Tacomas come with keyless entry?
Anyways, positive answers would be appreciated. Thanks

It all depends on what you want your truck to do!
I, for one, bought a Tacoma, but, really wish that I would have bought a Tundra, seeing as I am a Contractor for AT&T and Verizon..I need all of the room, and power I can get!
But, if you don't need a big truck, go with the Tacoma, good power, good gas mileage, ect..
You're right on the Reliability part! Toyotas are BUllet proof!

Well...if yer being serious, Id say a Tacoma xtra cab. Any year, really. Not sure on the keyless. My 99 TRD doesn't have it.
Damn..when I was in college I had a 2wd 2dr S10. woulda been sweet to have nicer truck, but at least I never had to drive anyone anywhere. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

But back on topic, tacoma`s get a bit better mileage, and have a huge aftermarket with superchargers, turbo`s, lifts, drops, etc. www.customtacos.com is a great tacoma based forum with tonnes of great info on it if you do decide on a taco.
