I called the number listed in the Japanengines ebay listing and asked where they were made. I was told the engines are assembled in the US but the parts are all made in Taiwan or China. I wonder if the parts are excellent quality, for instance, is the crank made of forged steel?
It's a good price, but I wonder about longevity.
