SO.. what diesel motor are you going to go with? 4d55, or 4d56 Is this going to be a FrankR factory restoration? No for a few reasons. I do not have the dedication FrankR has, and I just want a basic simple daily driver that has nice style, is safe, basic offroad capabilities, and good fuel mileage. I like fairly unique also.

Maybe you did not read all of my post. Safe is in there. And a diesel swap AT THE MOST should cost 3k if I bought one of those JDM motors from japan. HOPEFULLY I can find a running diesel truck local.

Shouldn't be too hard, I found a TD pickup locally for $200 but at the end of the week when I went to see about buying it. He had already sent it to the crusher. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
