I have a 93 pickup, and i got a notice about a year ago. I called up my local toyota dealership and asked them about it. They told me to drop off my truck for a few hours and they would replace the recalled part. I dropped it off and when i came back they had replaced the relay, and all the bushings on the entire steering setup. They just gave me my key back and said i was good to go with no money spent. I was happy.

The amount of work done varies by dealer, some don't even get an alignmnet afterwards, while others got completely new steering linkage from tie-rod to tie-rod.

More than tread lightly. Leave it like you were never there, nor anyone else.
