Is there anyway to remove the heads without removing the manifolds? I easily removed the nuts holding the manifold to the head but all the other nuts/bolts holding the manifolds to the rest of the exhaust are frozen solid. I tried prying the manifold away from the heads but couldn't get it far enough away.

Get some PB on those downpipe nuts, they are hard to break free but they will(don't strip them!) I've always had to remove the manifolds with the heads, especially on the 3.5l motor.
