It's still not real good for the environment. CFC-11's ozone depletion potential is pretty low (1.0), but it's global warming potential is about midway between best and worst of refrigerants at 4,680. CFC-12, 114, 500, & 502 all range between .221 and 1.0 for ozone depletion and up to 10,720 for global warming potential (CFC-12).

HCFC's (22 & 123) are better with ozone depletion at .02-.04, and global warming factors from 76-1780.

HFC's (23, 134a,.....) have ozone depletions of 0, but global warming factors of 1020 - 12,240 (the highest of any refrigerant).

The best refrigerants (for the environment anyway) are the natural ones - carbon dioxide, ammonia, and propane. Ammonia is the best with zero glbal warming and ozone depletion.
