hey everybody, i'm new to the site, and i've just purchased a late model amigo. i've heard good things about calminis 3" lift. i've looked around and can't quite find what i'm looking for though. does anbody know what the rti ramp travel score is for a late model amigo with this lift? i read the lifting a late model isuzu post by Chris Perosi. he built his own 3" lift and has the pic saying it scored a 917! would the calmini lift be pretty comparable to this? thanks for your time everybody.

Don't get hung up on them. RTI scores are worthless beyond bragging rights at the campsite, IMHO. All 3" kits are going to get you about the same number since they all lift the truck in the same manner.

hey, thanks for the input man. i was just curious. i looked at your cardomain page and with the mods you have done your amigo seems as cabable as id like mine to be. i have a 1976 jeep cj5 that i use for off road only. i want my amigo to be a daily driver and weekend off roader.

After a lot of research, it's my opinion that the Calmini lift includes things that you don't really need, such as the new upper A-arms. There have been others that said their rear coils lost lift after a year or two. Others commented that the shocks were not the greatest. Check out Matt Brown's lift at Independent 4X I have had no problems, no sagging, and no issues for many years now. Pete

hey, thanks. i checked out the lift, its cheaper and comes with the manual hubs and everything. in fact, i was reading around and i heard the upper arms arent really neccessary also. so, yours seems to do just fine with the stock ones?

No problem with the stock A-arms, and I've beat them pretty hard. Pete ![[Linked Image]](http://pics.montypics.com/phohmann/2007-06-14/1181843937_myzucrozet.jpg)
