As soon as I can get the old bumper off I'll take more pictures then post a more informative thread, all I can say now is make sure you have plenty of penetrating oil, I spent an afternoon wrestling with the old bumper but gave up after I removed the light bar, it only took 1 1/2 hours to remove 2 bolts. So I went in and had a beer, and checked up on how to remove the bumper without first hitting a deer!

According to KIA there are 24 more bolts to remove, so I had another beer, I'll tackle this tomorrow or next weekend!
1.
Remove the two lower clips from the forward part of the left front mud guard. Grasp the lower edge of the mud guard and pull it back toward the tire. Wedge it against the tire to expose the forward part of the wheel well.

Repeat for the right side.

Remove one bolt from the top of the left side of the bumper. (bolt #1)
4.
Repeat for the right side.(bolt #2)
5.
Remove one bolt from the bumper side bracket.(bolt #3)
6.
Repeat for the right side.(bolt #4)
7.
Remove three nuts to remove the left side bumper stay. (#5,6,7)
8.
Repeat for the right side.(#8,9,10)
9.
Remove two bolts from the bottom of the bumper.(#11,12)
10.
Remove one bolts from the left front-side bracket.(#13)
11.
Repeat for the right side.(#14,15,16)
12.
Remove four bolts from the left-hand bumper stay.(#17,18,19,20)
13.
Repeat for the right side.(#21,22,23,24)
14.
Remove the front bumper.
