I'm thinking about using some 31 10.5 tires I already have sitting around on the 86 Trooper II TD. Will they go with no lift? If some of you are running this size what did it do for or to your mpg? Thanks Mike

I've got 235/85R16's which are about 31 inches. I had to adjust my steering bump stops a hair, but otherwise they fit fine. My mileage dropped about 2-3 mpg, but part of that might be because I tend to drive faster when the speedometer is off.

i went from bald 235/75/15 tires on 15/6 steel rims, to new to me 95% 31/10.50/15 on 15/7 allow rims. i did no mod it just bolted on.
MPG is about the same, all though 60mph is my max speed
