Hey Spence while we are shopping for information how about cleaning Injectors? We would need the part # for the o ring, and procedure for cleaning them. I have an ultrasonic cleaner at work, but are there any precautions? Also I believe the injectors are supposed to spray when given more than 20 psi? I can prob fabricate a rig to check this if I can get some info on setting them up. Or I could remove them and give them to a shop but I am mechanically handy and cheap...

I think that diesel injectors need more than 20PSI (not sure but I think it is in the thousands).

I am sure you are right that the pressure is higher. I believe the pressure is in the hundreds for mechanical fuel injectors and yes in the thousands for the newer crd diesels. I just threw the lower number out there hoping somone would know the correct numbers.

Body Damage is Cool
Found a diesel shop yet? I want to take my injectors in for a tune. I bought new nozzles for them hoping the rest of the body is in good shape, or the parts would be common.

Where did you get the nozzles and how much were they?

Got 'em off eBay, came from Australia. The same outfit also was selling the whole injector, but was way more money and had a core charge. Don't remember what I paid. Not a lot 'cause I'm cheap!

Hey, look, I found the seller and they have a set for sale: Link

I remembered them because they included a weird fish-in-acrylic keychain for free.

The nozzles are Bosch "Zexel" brand, made in Japan. The part# is 105007-1120. Came with new washers too.
