I agree with shorepig - the Yoko Geolandar A/Ts are really good tires both on the street and off road. They do very well in mud, snow and slush. I would't recommend them, however, if you plan on doing anything that takes you off a trail where you risk catching something in the sidewall. The BFG A/Ts would be a better choice in that case as they have heavier sidewalls. Unfortunately, the BFGs do suck in mud and slush and they're not that great in heavy rain either. Not working off of 'hear say'. I pull more people out of the snow and crud running BFG A/Ts then any other tire.
